EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA

Education is not the preparation of life, education is life itself. – JOHN DEWEY

However, in a nation like ours it is not tough to find glitches and loopholes in the mechanism. It is not too late to understand that something is terribly wrong with the Indian Education System.
A student might understand well in a classroom setup, another learns better by watching videos, another does activities and learns best. Yet, all these three might be forced to sit in the same classroom learning the same way using the same method. Education cannot be one size fits all because every child has a unique learning requirement.
The free education we claim to offer to the poor does not even qualify to be called education. There are limited number of seats in universities, so not only primary or secondary but higher education comes with its own terms and conditions.
In Indian schools Standardized testing determines everything, and aptitude of students is not recognized outside this format.

The education methodologies and curriculum still belong to an era when India needed to produce a large number of clerks and services professional. This age old curriculum is not keeping up with the age we live in creating a huge disparity between what is actually taught and what actually needs to be taught.

Education should cater to multi-dimensional growth and we at BrainWeave aim to build a smart curriculum. It will focus not merely on the development that books can offer but all round growth of personality and brain.

At BrainWeave we believe smart work is as important as hard work, so that our outcome is not only acceptable but the best in the line, Same goes for our efforts to better education in our nation.
We believe in the concept of STEM(Science, Technology,Engineering and Mathematics) Education.
STEM education integrates concepts that are usually taught as separate subjects in different classes and emphasizes the application of knowledge to real-life situations. A lesson or unit in a STEM class is typically based around finding a solution to a real-world problem and tends to emphasize project-based learning. A variation of STEM is STEAM, which includes an ‘A’ for art and design. Artistic design is becoming an important part of STEM education since creativity is an essential part of innovation. Many STEM lessons involve building models and simulating situations. A good STEM lesson ensures that students understand the connection to the real world.

This in turn helps in the growth of brain and personality, which is our primary concern in education.Education is the most powerful weapon as rightly put forward by a wise men and BrainWeave aims to teach how to use the weapon right.
